Paramount "Power of Youth" event.

A couple of weeks ago, I was asked to be a chalk artist for Variety's "Power of Youth" event held at Paramount Studios. The event was a benefit held for sick or at risk children. I was asked to do a sidewalk chalk mural for the kids. It was a lot of fun, despite it being pretty cold outside, but I'm a Southern California dweller, so I'm a wimp when it comes to cold.

The kids seemed to really enjoy the art and the entire day built around them. Some of them even wanted me to teach them how to draw! I basically did this mural on the fly out of my head. Enjoy!

Because everyone loves the original pin up gal, here's a painting of Betty Paige. You can see it in person at the GirlsDrawinGirls Holiday show this Saturday, Dec. 5th in Los Angeles!

Here's a new pose for the Jr. Derby logo. Just gotta make a few tweaks and finalize it. Then the young ladies of the LA Derby Dolls can have something perdy to represent them!
